Easy visit, lots to see
Booked tickets online for an Advance Day Pass. Entrance was smooth. Saw giraffes and penguins. Cafe food was decent. Kids enjoyed the playgrounds. Took about 4 hours to walk around. Parking was easy. Good day.
Good day out with the kids
We went to Marwell last Saturday with the kids, just a spontaneous trip. Booked the Advance Day Pass online that morning, which was easy enough. The kids loved the adventure playgrounds, especially the big one near the giraffes. The road train was a nice touch for tired little legs after walking around so much. Saw most of the animals, though some were a bit shy. Overall, it was a pretty good day out, everyone had fun.
Worth it for the annual pass
I decided to get the Annual Membership this year because we live close by and visit often. It definitely offers good value if you go more than a couple of times. The online booking for members was straightforward, which is a plus. The zoo itself is great, lots of space for the animals, and the conservation work is a big reason I support them. My only minor gripe was that one of the cafes was quite busy on our last visit, and the wait for a coffee was longer than I'd hoped. Maybe a few more staff during peak times? But honestly, we love coming here, the kids adore the lemurs.
Giraffe feeding was amazing!
Oh my goodness, I had the most incredible time at Marwell! I finally got to do the Giraffe Feeding experience and it was truly unforgettable. Being that close to those gentle giants was just magical. The staff were so knowledgeable and made it even better. I will absolutely be coming back again, maybe for a Keeper for a Day! You guys are doing such important conservation work, too. Highly recommend this to everyone, tell your friends!
Advance booking saved me money
